Privacy Policy

KnowlifyAI Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Content Yard, operates contentyard.io and provides video production services. For privacy law purposes we act in two roles:

• Controller of personal information we collect from website visitors, enquiry forms, email, and booking a Video Strategy Audit — we decide how that information is used to run the studio and respond to you.
• Service provider / processor of materials clients give us to produce a film (scripts, brand assets, product access, footage). We use that information only to deliver the project, as directed by the client.

“Personal information” here means information that identifies you, or that could reasonably be linked to you — including a work email, IP address, or the contents of a brief that names people.

Information you give us

We collect what you submit on this site or send us directly:

• Paid pilot enquiry: name, work email, company, website, video type, timeline, and a short brief.
• Design Partner application: name, company, work email, website, monthly volume, use case, current workflow, and why you are applying.
• Email or other contact: whatever you include when you write to [email protected].
• Booking an audit: name, email, and any notes you enter on the scheduling page, plus the meeting time. Scheduling is handled by Calendly. Their privacy policy applies to that page in addition to this one.

We do not ask for payment card numbers on this website.

Information collected automatically

When you load the site, our host and content delivery network record standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages and files requested, referring URL, and timestamps. This is used to serve the site, keep it secure, and understand aggregate traffic.

If you accept cookies, we also load PostHog for product analytics (pages viewed, clicks, and similar usage) and RB2B, a visitor-identification service. RB2B sets first-party cookies on this domain and may associate your visit with a company or a person, using information RB2B or its data partners already hold — including an email address. See Visitor identification.

Media files may be served from Amazon CloudFront. Requesting those files can create the same kind of server logs on that network.

Information from clients during a project

If you hire us, you may send scripts, decks, logos, product credentials, recordings, or employee names that appear on screen. We treat that as confidential project material. See “Client project materials” below.

We use personal information to:

• respond to an enquiry or Design Partner application;
• schedule and run the free Video Strategy Audit;
• scope, produce, revise, and deliver video work;
• send information you asked for, such as a quote or project update;
• invoice and keep business records;
• operate, secure, debug, and understand use of this website; and
• identify companies and people who visit the site (through RB2B) and, where an email is associated with that visit, send related communications and marketing.

Form submissions are used to reply about the project you asked about. You can opt out of marketing email from us at any time, and you can opt out of RB2B identification as described below.

We share personal information with the providers below. Most of them process it only to run a service for us. RB2B is different: it is a visitor-identification partner, described in the next section.

• Website hosting — the provider that serves contentyard.io, which receives standard request logs.
• Amazon CloudFront — delivery of images and video files.
• Calendly — audit booking.
• Resend — optional email so we are notified when a form is submitted.
• Automation or inbox tools we connect — if we configure a webhook, a submission may be forwarded as JSON to a tool we operate (for example Slack, Zapier, Make, or n8n) so we can reply.
• Contractors — writers, designers, or voiceover help bound to use the information only for the project.
• PostHog — product analytics. Loaded after you accept cookies. PostHog processes page views and similar usage events as our processor.
• RB2B (Retention.com) — visitor identification. If you accept cookies, RB2B and its online data partners may associate site activity with other personal information they already have, including an email address. See Visitor identification.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the studio or others from harm, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply or you would be notified of a successor policy.

If you press play on a third-party video embed (YouTube, Vimeo, or Loom), that provider may collect data under its own policy. The current sales video on this site is self-hosted, so that embed does not load unless we change the player to one of those services.

Strictly technical storage may be used to deliver the page. If you accept cookies, PostHog sets first-party analytics cookies (names beginning with ph_ or __ph_opt_in_out_) and RB2B sets first-party cookies on this domain for visitor identification. RB2B’s cookies are: _reb2bgeo, _reb2bloaded, _reb2bref, _reb2sessionID, _reb2buid, _reb2bfxf, _reb2btd, _reb2bli, _reb2bresolve, and _reb2butk. The longest-lived of these lasts up to one year.

The cookie banner on this site lets you accept or decline that identification. You can open it again from “Cookie settings” in the footer. When you leave this site to book on Calendly, Calendly and its processors may set their own cookies. You can also control cookies in your browser; blocking all cookies may affect booking or playback on third-party sites.

Materials you share so we can make a film are used only to produce, revise, and deliver that work, and to keep records of the engagement. We will not publish or showcase a client film without your explicit approval.

You decide what to send. Prefer a limited or sandbox login over production credentials, and rotate anything you shared when the project ends. If you are our client, you are typically the controller of personal information inside those materials (employees, customers, patients, and so on). We process that information as your service provider. Do not send us special categories of data — health, payment cards, or government IDs — unless we have agreed in writing that the project requires it.

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as we need it to respond, run the project, and keep ordinary business records (for example invoices and correspondence). Server logs are kept for a short period by the host, then deleted or aggregated according to that provider’s practice.

You can ask us to delete information we hold as controller. We may retain what the law requires, or what we need to complete an engagement, resolve a dispute, or enforce our terms.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small studio — access limited to people who need it, HTTPS on this site, and service providers that offer encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We do not claim a specific certification (such as SOC 2) on this page.

If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate personal information;
• delete personal information we hold as controller;
• opt out of marketing email from us, and of RB2B identification and related advertising via the links in Visitor identification; and
• appeal a refusal, if a law that applies to you requires an appeal process.

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy request.” We will need enough detail to find you and may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

If we deny a request, we will say why. If a privacy law that applies to you provides a right to appeal or to complain to a regulator, we will tell you how.

California visitors: this policy is meant to satisfy CalOPPA’s requirement that a commercial site say what it collects and with whom it is shared. If the CCPA or another US state privacy law applies to us, we will honor the rights it provides. To opt out of RB2B’s association of your visit with other personal information, use “Do Not Sell or Share” in the footer or this opt-out.

We work with clients in more than one country. If GDPR, UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD, or a similar law applies to a particular request, email us at the address above. We will treat that request under the law that applies, including access, correction, deletion, or restriction where those rights exist. You can also opt out of RB2B collection at https://www.rb2b.com/rb2b-gdpr-opt-out.

The site is operated from the United States. If you visit or write to us from another country, your information will be processed in the United States and in any other country where our service providers run their systems. Those countries may have different data-protection rules than your own.

If we add another tracker, a new category of personal information, or a new type of sharing, we will update this policy and the date at the top before that change goes live, or as soon as reasonably possible. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without notice.
